I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montreal. Previous to my doctorate, I earned an M.Ps. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montreal and a B.A. in English Drama from McGill University. Additional post-doctoral training included psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy with adolescents and their families at the Youth Service of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, group psychotherapy training at the Individual and Group Psychotherapy Unit of the Allen Memorial Institute, and psychoanalytic training at the Canadian Institute of Psychoanalysis (Quebec English Branch).
I have had my own business practice for over 25 years, beginning in Montreal. As Co-Director of Group Psychotherapy Training, I taught and supervised students in the program. I was also a staff member of the Individual and Group Psychotherapy Unit at the Allen Memorial Institute, where I taught and supervised. I have published papers and presented them at international conferences. After moving to in 2003, I got re-licensed as a psychologist in Ottawa, Ontario and opened my psychology practice in downtown Ottawa.
